Introductions
Historical Walking tours intro by Anjala
Anjala gave a wonderful introduction to the tours. She has written a book on Woodlawn’s history and we’re all pumped to attend. Doug couldn’t attend the call but his blog was shared.
Tim LeMaster
Tim is running as a republican to tackle crime and homeless. He feels that having a single person on the ballot doesn’t give people an option. He’s a retired marine.
Leaven Community
Leaven is willing to be a meeting spot for the walking tour. Sam is in touch with them. Sam will also pass out a walking tour flyer as well.
Taking Ownership PDX
Taking Ownership. Supporting minority homeowners with the upkeep of their home. Yard signs are free. Post on website.
Preparing for walking tours
Brooks put up all of the flyers. Need to put up at farmers markets table - Sam will do this. We need to have at least one rep at every walking tour. Angie will go this Saturday.
Movie in the Park
Leaven would like a table. We discussed other businesses and outreach. And people reaching out. Do we want to have a table as Vernon Park and have kids coloring? Sam offered to create a coloring print

Leaven is willing to host on their property. Sam mentioned that there are a lot of second hand places that maybe can start to lean on in the future. The summer is a busy time and may be too hard. Perhaps we put this on the Spring 2023 agenda? SOLVE may be a better option. They may have a better approach.
