MEETING SUMMARY

Introduction and Additional Agenda Items

The meeting commenced at 6:00 pm with Nikki Ricks, Chair of the Vernon Neighborhood Association (VNA), leading the session. Attendees introduced themselves.

It was noted that Critical Energy Infrastructure expressed interest in presenting at the next meeting. The invitation will be extended to them.

District 2 Candidates

Tara and David provided feedback from their attendance at the District 2 candidate panel.

Chris Olson, a District 2 candidate, had a scheduling conflict for this meeting but expressed intention to attend the next one.

Attendees discussed the importance of informing the community about the upcoming District 2 panel next month. It was agreed to conduct research and disseminate information to ensure community awareness and participation.

NECN Communications Grant

Nikki, Allan and Taylor will collaborate on assembling a proposal for the $1,000 communications grant offered by NECN.

Engagement with Concordia Community

Attendees highlighted the need to enhance engagement with the Concordia community. Action items were set to establish stronger connections with Concordia residents.

Safe Streets Committee Update

Acknowledgment was given to the Safe Streets committee for their excellent work on the PBOT letter. The committee's efforts were praised by attendees.
